The side effect of this was that legacy instruments needed adapters that have been out of production for years and thus have skyrocketed in value. When Microsoft went from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One they created their own proprietary wireless communication protocol so that they could make money off of 3rd party controllers. Plus you can sometimes find deals on drums where a pad or two have broken off and use the internals from those.ģ) The problem has nothing to do with Harmonix. u/bookreader52 is the creator so maybe they can give you the answer to that question.Ģ) Yes they are expensive, but since they are around the same price as the MadCatz Wireless Legacy adapter it is the better option if you are starting from zero.
